Pass Plus
Pass Plus is a road safety initiative by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) aimed at improving the driving abilities of recently passed drivers. Once pupils have passed their test they can then pay for a block of tuition from a Pass Plus registered instructor (me included). Pupils, once they have reached the required standard are usually entitled to a substantial discount on their insurance from companies supporting the Pass Plus scheme.
There are 6 Pass Plus modules:
- Motorways
- Town driving
- Night driving
- Dual carriageways
- All weather driving
- Rural driving
The 6 modules can be taken in three 2 hour sessions or all together in one day. I am however totally flexible and will endeavor to fit in around your busy schedule.
Motorway lessons
Driving on the motorway is more often than not a daunting experience for new drivers and pupils regularly fear motorway work despite being confident in all other aspects of driving.
I can help you conquer any fear you might have of the motorway with a few motorway lessons. These lessons will be undergone just as any other regular driving lessons. I'll pick you up at a location that suits you and we'll drive up to the motorway. I'll show you how things work, we'll go through the signs/ motorway markings etc. and then you can get behind the wheel when you feel comfortable.
Because of the nature of motorway lessons I usually recommend pupils take a minimum of two hours per lesson.
